Working with us:
We're looking, as always, to build a superb team with bucket loads of experience and enthusiasm and with a passion for great food and service!
We need a team that will work well together under pressure, with exceptionally high standards and good work ethic; bringing with them energy and knowledge, and most importantly knowing how to have fun and to enjoy their surroundings!
We strive to exceed our customer's expectations in all areas and our aim is to produce a menu that makes the most of the fantastic local produce the island has to offer, the seafood is on tap and is second to none, not to mention the local dairy, beef and pork farm and home-grown vegetables. We also pride our selves on our attentive, friendly and welcoming service.
We look after our team, and work hard together, as well as enjoying everything that beautiful Alderney has to offer (see island info). We provide a high standard of staff accommodation, a competitive salary and great perks.
The Island:
Alderney is the most northerly Channel Island and is only 9 miles from France. It is 3 miles by 1.5 miles, steeped in history and spectacular scenery.
It is lined with dramatic cliffs and beautiful low-lying beaches with white sands. If you're looking to escape and try something a little different this summer, then you won't be disappointed.
It's a great place to save money, away from too many temptations, even though there is plenty to do on the island; beaches, fishing, tennis, squash, golf, paddle boarding, boat trips, beach BBQs, cycling, plentiful restaurants, pubs, camping, exploring and tranquillity... for somewhere so small, not to mention the 'bunker parties' (all night raves in the old fortifications) and the infamous Alderney Week, as well as various events and festibvals that visit the island.
Alderney has something quite unique with its quirky charm and character welcoming people with a laid back and carefree attitude - that seems to have escaped most nowadays!! http://www.visitalderney.com/
